Course Requirements
To complete the minor, students must complete 16 credits of Russian language courses
and 15 credits of area studies courses drawn from the list below. The language requirement
may be waived for students passing an advanced level proficiency exam in a major Slavic
or East European language.
Language:
16 credits in the following Russian language courses, or demonstration of advanced proficiency
in another language of Eastern Europe.
RUSS 1001-1002 Elementary Russian I and II (3 credits each)
RUSS 2001-2002 Intermediate Russian I and II (3 credits each)
RUSS 1011-2012 Interactive Russian -- Elementary I-II; Intermediate I-II (four, 1 credit courses)
