*Consistent with M.B.A. program policy, to enroll in specific core courses, students must either complete the required Pre-Qualification courses or obtain a waiver of specific courses based on prior business coursework or by examination.
Pre-Qualification Sequence
Pre-qualification (PQ) courses are short, self-paced online courses designed to help students build or update basic business skills. Students may earn PQ course waivers with equivalent coursework in the last 5 years or may test out with a challenge exam. M.S. Chemistry students who successfully complete the CHEM 6212 - Statistics and Applied Analytical Chemistry course will receive a waiver of the requirement to take the Statistics PQ (BMBA 8019).
II. Complete one 3-credit approved graduate business elective.
The 3-credit graduate business elective must be a course that either: (1) has no prerequisite requirements or (2) has prerequisite requirements that the student meets by successfully completing one or more of the MBA core courses listed above. Students should consult with MBA Advisor, in selecting the elective course.
