Digital Transformation

 

The Stillman School of Business and the Division of Continuing Education are pleased to launch a new Digital Transformation Certificate Series. This program, delivered entirely by industry professionals, will consist of a series of keynote lectures from practicing Information Technology (IT) professionals. Each session will focus on current trends and career opportunities in IT and technology roles across industries.

  • February 27 with Deepak Sawardekar, Managing Director at Indus Valley Partners (Software Programming/Engineering)
  • March 19 with Danielle Greshock, Worldwide Director at AWS Partner Solution, Amazon (Data Science)
  • March 27 with Arun Kumar, Serial entrepreneur focused on AI initiatives (Artificial Intelligence)
  • April 3 with Robin Cyrus, National Cybersecurity Leader at DLA (Cybersecurity)
  • April 17 Dragan Masnikosa, Head of Investment Technology at Blue Owl Capital (Mobile App Development)
  • April 24 with Lindsay Scarangello, Senior Director of Infrastructure and Cloud Computing at Slalom (Infrastructure/Cloud Computing)

This series aims to educate attendees on the multiple facets of the IT landscape and the exciting career paths that are available. Robert Lee, Chief Technology Officer of Blue Owl Capital, will kick off the series with a general overview of the industry and a brief introduction to the subtopics to be covered throughout the series.

Subsequent lectures will feature keynote speakers who will address topics including software programming/engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile app development, data science, cybersecurity, and infrastructure hardware.

You do not need to be an IT or technology major to attend. Participants with any skill-level who have an interest in technology and digital transformation are welcome.

The University’s Division of Continuing Education and Professional Studies will award a Digital Transformation Badge to those participants who attend a specified number of the sessions and complete additional academic requirements.
