Former Managing Partner, USA Government at Accenture
Stanley J. Gutkowski retired in November, 2006 having spent 33 years working at Accenture and its predecessor organizations, Andersen Consulting and Arthur Andersen. He spent his entire career in the firm's Washington, DC operation. Positions included being the Managing Partner of the Metro DC operation in which he was responsible for representing the organization externally in the DC market and for managing the internal operations of the Metro DC office; being the Managing Partner of the organization's Government Operating Unit in the United States in which he was responsible for managing all aspects of the organization's activities in the Federal Government, State and Local Government, and Higher Education markets; and being the Managing Partner of the organization's Federal Government Client Group in which he was responsible for managing all aspects of the organization's Federal Government market.
Following his retirement from Accenture in 2006, for the next ten years, he served on the Board of Directors (including the final eight years as Chairman) of Cayuse Technologies, a start up IT Outsourcing company that was created by the Consolidated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) located in Pendleton, Oregon.
During his career, he has served on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations, including the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts and the local chapters of Junior Achievement, the American Heart Association and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
