Admission Requirements B.S.N.

High School Applicants  

High school students applying to the College of Nursing must have completed at least one unit in biology and one unit in chemistry. Currently SATs are optional. The College looks for 3.6 high school GPA in addition to the other university requirements for admission.

Transfer Applicants 

A cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher is required for students transferring from other colleges or from other majors at Seton Hall.  All science courses required in the traditional BSN curriculum must be completed at a two or four- year college or university within the past five years, equivalent to Seton Hall University sciences, with a B or better grade, otherwise accepted as electives.

English as a Second Language 

All applicants to the College of Nursing whose native language is not English must have taken the TOEFL iBT® test within the past five years and achieved minimum scores of 22 in Reading, 22 Listening, 26 in Speaking and 24 in Writing.
