B.A./Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.)
The College of Arts and Sciences offers a five-year dual degree program leading to Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree and a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree for undergraduate students pursuing the following B.A. tracks:
- Africana Studies
- Biology
- Catholic Studies
- History
- Philosophy
- Political Science
- Religion
- Social and Behavioral Studies (Policy, Justice and Administrative Track)
- Social Work
- Sociology
The program has a two-fold purpose: to provide a broad-based undergraduate education with a comprehensive grasp of one’s undergraduate major and to allow students the opportunity to earn a Master of Public Administration degree within five years.
Students may apply for admission to the joint degree program when first applying to the University or after they begin their studies.
