AAAS Mass Media Science & Engineering Fellows Program
- For undergraduate seniors, recent graduates, and graduate/PhD students in the fields of the natural, physical, health, engineering, computer, or social sciences or mathematics. Participants serve a 10-week fellowship in a newsroom, helping to spread science knowledge to the public and enhance coverage of science-related issues in the media.
- Award: $450 weekly stipend for the duration of the program, as well as travel expenses.
AFCEA Intelligence and Cyber Security Scholarships
- For full-time sophomores and juniors majoring in computer science. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Scholarships are awarded based on demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and financial need.

- Open to full-time undergraduate (sophomores, juniors, and seniors only) and graduate students specializing in the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Minimum GPA of 3.4 required.

AFCEA Young Entrepreneur Scholarship
- For part-time sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students with a declared major in a science, mathematics, or technology degree program, including management information systems, or a declared major in a business field with a science or technology minor. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be working for a small business while they attend school.
- Award: $2,000
AP-Google Journalism and Technology Scholarship
- For U.S. citizens, 18 years or older, attending school full-time on the undergraduate or graduate level. Applicants must be a sophomore or higher with at least one year of full-time study remaining at the time of their application. Requires a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants should be involved in the creation of journalistic content with computer science elements, but no specific major is required.
- Award: 6 awards of $20,000.
Cognizant Making the Future Scholarship
- Undergraduate students pursuing a career in the STEM fields are encouraged to apply.
- Award: A one-time award of $5,000 for school expenses.
Department of Energy - Computational Science Graduate Fellowship
- For seniors or graduate students studying engineering, mathematics, or the physical, computer, or life sciences and planning to work full-time towards a PhD. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Students must be enrolled at a department that certifies that either: no more than one term of teaching, grading, or other departmental support activities are required of students in the applicant's department, or, if there are requirements to teach, grade or provide other departmental support for more than one term, they will be waived for the DOE CSGF fellow.
- Award: A yearly stipend of $36,000; full tuition and required fees paid during the appointment period; a $5,000 academic allowance in the first fellowship year and a $1,000 allowance each renewed year (to be used for the purchase of a computer workstation or for research / professional development expenses); the potential to renew the fellowship for up to four years of total support.
Eben Tisdale Public Policy Fellowship
- For juniors, seniors, and graduate students who have interest in public policy, the high tech industry, and/or computer science. Open to international students. Participants serve an 8-week internship in the government relations office of a leading high technology company or association, as well as a weekly issues seminar led by experts in the field.
- Award: $5,000 stipend to cover expenses associated with the fellowship.
- Seniors and graduate students interested in studying at Cambridge in disciplines related to health, equity, technology, and learning. Applicants must have a 3.7 GPA, significant leadership experience, and the desire to use their knowledge to improve the lives of others. Applicants may not be citizens of the U.K.
- Award: Enables student leaders from around the world to obtain graduate degrees in critical areas of interest at Cambridge University. Covers tuition, living expenses and international transportation. About 80 scholarships/year.

Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship
- For U.S. citizens who are full-time sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants also must be women and/or minority students who are pursuing a degree in science, technology (IT), engineering, or mathematics (STEM majors). Participants are placed in paid summer internship positions, gaining experience in Department of Energy/Fossil Energy mission-related research programs, as well as an inside view of federal employment.
- Award: Weekly stipend of $500 for undergraduates, $650 for Master's degree students, and $750 for Doctoral and Post-Doctoral students. Travel costs to the host site are also covered, but fellows are responsible for their own housing.
- Undergraduates with financial need and a demonstrated interest in computer science. Four scholarship categories: general, women, underrepresented minority groups, and students with disabilities. Minimum GPA: 3.0. Must also apply for a summer internship. Open to international students.

National Physical Science Consortium - Graduate Fellowships in Science and Engineering
- For U.S. citizens who are seniors, first or second year graduate students, or students in a terminal Master's program (the student's university offers no Ph.D in the student's discipline). Applicants must be in one of the following fields: chemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering. Applicants must be accepted at a participating NPSC-member university or college and progress through a full-time study program leading to a graduate degree in the physical sciences or related engineering fields. Fellows must complete one or two summer internships, as the sponsoring employer requires.
- Award: $20,000 stipend for 2, 3 or 6 years, depending on the employer/sponsor.
- The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, psychology, social work, history, public health, social work, business administration/management, and education (except research-focused STEM education programs). Applicants must be pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees in the U.S. and abroad. Women, minorities, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
- Award: Fellows benefit from a three-year annual stipend of $30,000 along with a $10,500 cost of education allowance for tuition and fees, a one-time $1,000 travel allowance and the freedom to conduct their own research at any accredited U.S., or foreign institution of graduate education they choose. Also provides TeraGrid Supercomputer access.
- Open to undergraduate and graduate-level U.S. citizens who are at least 18 years of age, able to participate in summer internships as part of the scholarship program, willing to accept post-graduate employment with the Department of Defense, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and are majoring in one of the following subjects: biology, chemistry, behavioral sciences, computer science, engineering, math, or physics.
