Stillman School Named a 'Best Business School' by The Princeton Review for Fourteenth Consecutive Year
Friday, December 11, 2020
The Princeton Review has once again included the Stillman School's on-campus MBA in its list of "Best Business Schools." The Princeton Review editors agree that the Stillman MBA program is one of the best and is a key factor in the School's strong reputation.
"We are so proud that the Stillman School is, once again, included in Princeton Review’s Best Business Schools MBA listings. This accolade reflects the quality and impact of our program, which, through its focus on applied learning and ethical considerations, develops principled business leaders," said Joyce Strawser, Ph.D., dean of the Stillman School. "Our students benefit from a high level of personalized attention and regular interactions with alumni, beginning in their first course, the 'Launch Experience,' and continuing through their final capstone 'Business Consulting' experience."
"We recommend the Stillman School as an excellent choice for an aspiring MBA," said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review's editor-in-chief. He noted that the company chose the 244 schools for its 2021 list based on data from the company's surveys of administrators and students.
Franek added, "What makes our Best Business Schools list unique is that we factor in data from our surveys of students attending the schools about their campus and classroom experiences. For our 2021 list we tallied surveys of more than 17,800 students at 244 business schools." The Princeton Review's 80-question survey, which was conducted during the 2019-20, 2018–19, and 2017–18 academic years, asked students about their school's academics, student body, and campus life as well as about themselves and their career plans.
Stillman School survey respondents praised several aspects of their educational experience, including faculty knowledge and engagement, the mix of industry experience among students and the “concepts into practice” academic approach.
This is the latest recognition of several received this year. Also in 2020, the Stillman School of Business and its Department of Accounting maintained dual accreditation by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB). In addition, U.S. News & World Report's 2021 Best Graduate Schools guide ranked the Stillman School 85th in the nation for part-time M.B.A.s.
