The School of Diplomacy and International Relations is pleased to welcome Mr. Robert Case as the Director of Internships and Career Development. Mr. Case brings over 17 years of experience in higher education in Career Services and Academic Advising, including at St. Joseph’s University and Union County College.
He comes ready to share his robust knowledge to expand students' professional development via resume writing to career conversations. He has provided insight into the nuances of career planning and helped solidify best practices through his time as Director of Career Services at two and four-year universities, and educational institutions. In his former positions, Mr. Case coordinated new opportunities for internships and jobs post-graduation and maintained and further developed alumni relations and networks. He also spent time in the classroom teaching students in areas such as career readiness, college success, and professional development and works towards translating this experience into a Doctor of Education which he will complete in 2024.
As a self-proclaimed nerd on politics, international relations, and world events, Mr. Case is excited to work on the international side of internships and careers. He is passionate about finding new and insightful ways to provide opportunities for at-risk or overlooked students because, at the heart of the job, Mr. Case wants to help prepare students for life post-college. He is excited to join Seton Hall, a nationally recognized university, and see exactly what great minds can do.
