About the Center
The Center for Global Health Studies serves as a think tank and resource center on issues relating to health, governance, and security. The Center examines infectious diseases, bioterrorism, and other global health issues from a foreign policy and security perspective. Among the goals of the Center are curriculum development, policy relevant research, and enhanced student learning. The Center has also been active in consulting and advising governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as the private sector.

As a member of the Consortium for Global Health Diplomacy, the Center is placed on par with leading institutions including the Global Health Programme at the Graduate Institute of Switzerland, Centre for Global Health Security at Chatham House (UK), and Global Health Policy Center at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
