Goals
Graduating Criminal Justice students will:
- Students will demonstrate proficient knowledge of the organizational framework of the American Criminal Justice System.
- Students will be able to describe the major theories that are used to explain the origins of criminal behavior.
- Students will demonstrate proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data in criminological theory and the criminal justice system through scientific and technical writing.
- Students will be able to understand how research methods are utilized in criminology and the criminal justice system.
- Students will be able to evaluate the links between research, theory, and practice
in the criminal justice system and apply material learned in the curriculum to experiences
gained by serving as an intern.
