Interested in Russia and Eastern Europe? Curious on how to obtain jobs and study around the globe?
Students are invited to join the Slavic Club and the Russian and Eastern European Studies Program (REESP) for an informative meeting on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in Fahy Hall, Room 236, or virtually via Microsoft Teams.
Professor and Director of REESP, Maxim Matusevich, Ph.D., will talk about how students can obtain a certificate and/or minor in Russian and Eastern European Studies and meet REESP faculty members. Information on lectures and other events sponsored by RESSP, opportunities for studying Russian, and details on the award-winning Slavic Club will also be available.
Afterwards, the University's Globetrotters will share their recent experiences studying and working around the globe. The event is free and all are welcome to attend. Hot borsch and other Slavic treats will be served.
Held every year, this event is one of the Slavic Club's most popular events for both members of the club and guests who plan to study abroad in the near future.
