Seton Hall University was proud to welcome Prevention Links for its 2025 Employee Summit, co-sponsored by the Department of Social Work. This year’s theme, “Bloom Where We’re Planted,” captured the heart of Prevention Links’ mission and resonated deeply with the values of Seton Hall, commitment to growth, service and community.
The summit emphasized both personal and collective flourishing. For Prevention Links staff, “Bloom Where We’re Planted” meant embracing opportunities and challenges, growing their skills, strengthening relationships and contributing to a shared mission. For the wider community, the theme represented a promise to show up where needed, foster meaningful connections and provide the tools and support that help individuals and families thrive.
Held on campus, the summit began with a spirit of connection and team unity, setting the stage for a day dedicated to cultivating strength, collaboration and purpose. Seton Hall’s Department of Social Work was honored to co-sponsor this important event, highlighting the University’s long-standing partnership with Prevention Links. Together, we advance a shared vision: preparing the next generation of social workers while supporting innovative prevention, recovery and wellness initiatives across New Jersey.
This collaboration benefits Seton Hall students and faculty alike, offering opportunities for experiential learning, research partnerships and engagement with community-based approaches to addiction prevention and recovery support. By hosting the summit, Seton Hall affirmed its commitment to bridging the academy and community, living out the University’s mission to develop servant leaders who make a difference in the world.
The 2025 Employee Summit was more than a professional gathering; it was a celebration of growth, resilience and shared purpose. Seton Hall is proud to continue cultivating these vital partnerships that allow both our students and our community partners to bloom where they are planted.
