Stillman School of Business Recognized in Princeton Review’s Best Business Schools for 2025

Stillman Professor Classroom In the Princeton Review’s "Best Business Schools for 2025," the Stillman School of Business’ M.B.A. programs were highlighted for excellence across three categories: Best Business Schools, Best Business Schools (Northeast) and Best Online M.B.A. Programs.

The Princeton Review bases its designations on comprehensive surveys of both business school administrators and students. For the 2025 rankings, administrators from 146 business schools offering online M.B.A.s and 11,900 M.B.A. students were surveyed, with more than 60 data points assessed. The designations highlight institutions with strong academics, experiential learning opportunities, career services and positive student feedback.

“We are proud to see the Stillman School of Business recognized once again by the Princeton Review,” said Dean Joyce Strawser, Ph.D. “This recognition affirms the quality of our programs, the dedication of our faculty and our commitment to preparing ethical, innovative leaders who positively impact business and society.”

The Stillman School’s M.B.A. curriculum comprises a flexible 40-credit framework crafted for working professionals, with on-campus evening classes and hybrid/online options available. Students can select a general track or pursue one of eight concentrations — including Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, Information Technology Management, Management, Marketing, Sport Management (one of the few programs nationwide with an MBA-level specialization in this field) and Supply Chain Management. The Business Analytics, Information Technology Management and Supply Chain Management concentrations carry STEM-designated status.

From day one, M.B.A. participants engage with the extended Stillman community. In the "Launch Experience," an immersive weekend kickoff to the program, M.B.A. students connect with faculty, industry experts and fellow professionals — strengthening bonds with the alumni network and corporate partners. The program strongly emphasizes applied learning: students work on real-client strategic consulting plans and sharpen their cross-functional business acumen through experiential coursework and specialized center projects.

Survey respondents praised Seton Hall’s M.B.A. program for its convenience and flexibility, particularly for professionals commuting to New York City or working along the New Jersey business corridor. Students noted that the streamlined curriculum makes the program efficient compared to many peer institutions with heavier requirements, though they cautioned that the program is still highly demanding and requires perseverance and commitment to balance alongside a full-time career.

Faculty accessibility was another major highlight. Students shared that professors are not only accommodating with office hours but also responsive by phone or email, demonstrating a strong commitment to student success. Many emphasized how courses are taught by a blend of accomplished scholars and adjunct faculty who are leaders in their fields, including corporate executives, entrepreneurs and even a lawyer for the Vatican.

Students also spoke highly of the program’s hands-on approach to learning, citing frequent presentations, in-class discussions, and group assignments that mirror real-world business collaboration. The required service project before graduation further reinforces Stillman’s mission of developing socially responsible leaders.

Facilities and technology were another plus, with students highlighting the modern learning environment and the Bloomberg-equipped trading room as particularly valuable for applied coursework in finance and analytics. Beyond the academics, students pointed to the program’s strong alignment with Seton Hall’s core values of integrity, diversity and social responsibility as a defining strength.

“Our M.B.A. program is designed with working professionals in mind, balancing flexibility with a rigorous and relevant curriculum,” said Mark Schild, M.B.A., associate dean for student success in the Stillman School. “The feedback from our students confirms the value of this approach, and we are proud to help graduates advance their careers and lead with purpose.”
