Center for Catholic Studies to Host Annual Faculty Retreat at San Alfonso Retreat Center

San Alfonso Retreat HouseAs the academic year draws to a close, the Center for Catholic Studies at Seton Hall University will once again offer faculty an opportunity to step away from the pace of campus life for shared reflection and renewal.

The Center will host its annual Faculty Retreat on June 11-12, 2026, at San Alfonso Retreat Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. Designed as an overnight retreat experience, the gathering will invite faculty into prayer, reflection, conversation and community in a contemplative setting on the shore.

Part of the Center’s ongoing faculty development work, the retreat supports spiritual renewal and deeper engagement with the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. It also provides time and space for faculty to connect across disciplines and reflect together on the University’s Catholic mission and the broader work of teaching, scholarship and service.

Held annually, the retreat continues a Center commitment to fostering faculty formation and strengthening the intellectual and spiritual life of the Seton Hall community.

Additional program details will be shared with registered participants in advance of the retreat.
