Goals

All graduate students will have advanced fundamental knowledge of the broad disciplines
of chemistry and be prepared to assume highly responsible scientific leadership positions
in industry, government or academe.
- Through completion of the dissertation, doctoral students will be able to conceive,
perform and present an original research project for peer review.
- All graduate students will have the critical thinking, writing and presentation skills to solve complex problems and express the results to both scientific and broader audiences.
