Prof. James Corino, Ed.D. named Belleville Man of the Year

Corino’s professional life encompasses 40 years as a public-school educator and 15 years as the Director of Seton Hall’s Executive Education Leadership programs. As a distinguished education leader, his acumen was manifested in a host of responsibilities from high school teacher, coach and director of athletics to school principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent. He has dedicated his career to serving the best interest of students, athletes and aspiring leaders. As an instructor in the College of Education and Human Services, he is committed to the promotion, nurturing and advancement of aspiring school leaders by preparing them with the intellectual and social/emotional leadership skills necessary to be successful, positive contributors to a diverse, global and rapidly changing society.
