Pirate’s Pursuit Market Research Case Competition
Overview
Pirate's Pursuit is a market research team case competition offered as an alternative to the team presentation portion of the Stillman School of Business Sophomore/Senior Assessment.
Case competition materials will consist of instructions, overview and evaluation criteria.
Prize money will be awarded to the winning teams:
- First-place team - $600
- Second-place team - $300
- Third-place team - $100
Eligibility
All Stillman School of Business sophomores, juniors and seniors in good standing may participate. Students must register as individuals and will be randomly placed into teams of 3-5 students. In order to fulfill the team presentation portion of the Sophomore/Senior Assessment requirement, students must have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
It is highly recommended that seniors complete their Stillman School of Business Assessment requirements prior to their last semester of school.

Registration / Deadline
Registration must be completed by Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Materials for the case competition will be emailed to all registered students by Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
Please only register if you are willing to participate and able to present on Thursday, March 13, 2025. If you "drop out" of this competition, you will not be eligible for this competition in the future.
Presentation Date
Pirate's Pursuit Market Research Case Competition will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 between 7-10 p.m. ET. This event will be held 100% virtually via Zoom. All participants must be available to participate on this date and time. Complete event logistics are to be announced.
