I have been a practicing physical therapist primarily working with pediatric clients and adults with neurodevelopmental conditions for over 35 years and have been engaged in teaching in higher education for 12 years. In 2019, I joined the faculty at Seton Hall University as a Co-Director of Clinical Education and transitioned to a full-time teaching role in 2021. My teaching responsibilities include courses with integration of clinical skills related to the neurological population and include Therapeutic Interventions III, Movement Development Across the Lifespan, Congenital and Developmental Disabilities-Clinical Decision-Making II and Adults with Neurological Conditions-Clinical Decision-Making V.
In addition, I am the chair of the committee coordinating the Health Science Campus, Interprofessional Education Research Seminar Series, a steering committee member of the School of Health and Medical Sciences (SHMS) Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Social Justice Committee, a member of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Graduate Admissions Committee and a member of the Faculty Advisory Board for the SHMS Center for Interprofessional Education. My research interests lie in the areas of Interprofessional Education, Simulation, and Pediatric Clinical Practice.
