John Wargacki, Ph.D.
Associate Professor
Department of English
Teaching American literature, especially poetry, is my passion as I hope to inspire a deeper love and appreciation of literature and the arts in all of my classes. My scholarly pursuits focus on the poetry of later 19th and early 20th century America, and I have published and presented on the Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman, Hart Crane, Wallace Stevens, and Robert Frost. I also teach in the University's core curriculum and pleased to participate in our ongoing conversations about our identity and mission in terms of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition.
