Lauren McFadden, Ed.D.
Associate Professor of Elementary and Special Education
College of Human Development Culture and Media
Dr. Lauren McFadden has been at Seton Hall teaching elementary and special education courses since the fall of 2005. Prior to assuming a full-time position at the university, she taught fifth grade for five years while serving as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall. In addition to her current teaching and research duties, she is also the Faculty Counselor for Kappa Delta Pi and the Faculty Adviser for the Seton Hall University Dance Team.
Dr. McFadden's true passion lies in teaching. Thus, she strives each day to create engaging lessons, to instill a love of learning in her students and to model best practice while taking the time to make a personal connection with each student. Her main goal is to inspire her students to be the best teachers they can be, arming them with the skills and tools necessary to positively impact the lives of every one of their students, leaving no one behind.
