Reihaneh Safavisohi
Assistant Professor
Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry
Dr. Safavisohi teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Biochemistry. She leads the SAFAVI lab, where the focus is research on the emerging field of extracellular vesicles in biomarker cancer detection. SAFAVI lab incorporates knowledge from diverse fields of science including analytical chemistry, nanotechnology, and molecular biology, to design a versatile platform for the enrichment and identification of novel disease biomarker candidates, with a particular focus on cancers.
