Jeronimo Valcarcel is a devoted and influential higher education professional with a proven track record in mentoring, advising, program planning, and developing new initiatives. He holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration (2016) and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics (2014) from SUNY Buffalo State University. Since 2018, Jeronimo served as an Academic Program Coordinator and EOF Counselor/Academic Advisor at Montclair State University, where he has made significant contributions to student development and support services. He also served as a Residence Hall Director at SUNY New Paltz, further demonstrating his commitment to student success. His professional journey showcases his dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

Jeronimo Valcarcel is responsible for the holistic support of graduate and undergraduate students through co-curricular programs, individualized academic success plans, and collaboration and training on related best practices for faculty and academic advisors. Jeronimo develops CHDCM-specific student performance indicators and manages, monitors, and uses available alert systems to communicate with students and identify appropriate intervention strategies.
