Department of Physician Assistant
For the last 12-plus years, I have dedicated my career toward educating diverse student populations representing various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I have a consistent record of providing effective leadership, mentoring and guidance to students, faculty and staff members. Academically, as an experienced educator, I offer vast classroom exposure, a great deal of energy and commitment to students. I have a strong background in Medicine and Biological Sciences and experience teaching courses including, but not limited to, Human Physiology, Physical Diagnosis, Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Skills.
My teaching philosophy as an educator in Physician Assistant graduate education is to model my love of learning to students and provide knowledge in a context that resonates with them and promotes lifelong learning. Physician Assistant education is not just about current knowledge, but also about professionalism, inquisitiveness, team management, analytical thinking and self-awareness. As the Assistant Chair of the program, my main areas of expertise are academic curricular development and evaluation, curriculum mapping and program assessment. I am very excited to be part of the Seton Hall University Physician Assistant Program team, and I look forward to the challenges and responsibilities that the position offers.
