Faculty Innovation Grants (FIG)
Faculty Innovation Grants (FIG) are devoted to the creation or application of learning
objects, resources, or innovative approaches by faculty members, with the support
of the TLT Center, to infuse technology in courses scheduled to be taught at Seton
Hall by the end of the Spring 2025 semester, with a well-defined strategy for continued
implementation in subsequent semesters.
FIGs are sponsored by the Teaching, Learning and Technology Center, together with
members of the Faculty Senate IT Committee and the Center for Faculty Development,
and are offered when funds are made available. This year, there are two grant types
available, an Adobe Creative Project Grant and a Traditional Faculty Innovation Grant.
All full-time faculty are eligible to apply for a FIG by submitting a proposal that aligns with the specific criteria established
for the type of grant they are interested in. While you may submit a proposal for
both grant types, each faculty member is only eligible to receive funding for one.
Interdisciplinary and group proposals are welcome. A faculty committee will review
applications and make recommendations for funding to the TLT Center.
