Friday, November 1

• Coffee & Donuts with the Deans »

  1-3 p.m. | Bethany Hall

  Get your afternoon jolt with coffee and conversation with our deans. Student info sessions will take place highlighting programs like: R.I.S.E., the Center of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, the Center for Sports Media, the Buccino Leadership Institute, the Setonian, and the Office of International Programs. Refreshments will be served.

  1-3 p.m. | Across Campus

  Ever wonder what it’s like to be a Seton Hall student? Join us for a guided tour that takes you through a typical day on campus to experience the hustle and bustle of a day in the life of a Pirate. All tours will leave from the Homecoming Headquarters tent.

• Meet and Mingle Welcome with Monica Burnette, Ph.D. »

  3:15-4 p.m. | Bethany Hall

  Monica Burnette, Ph.D., will discuss how the Division of Student Services helps students become successful in and out of the classroom, in their relationships with faculty and friends, and in their growth and development toward a chosen career. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.

• Pirate Dining Experience »

  4:15-5:45 p.m. | University Center Dining Hall

  Step into the University Center and dine like a true Pirate! In partnership with Student Services, this unique experience lets alumni, parents, and families enjoy a meal just like current Seton Hall students. Please note that all attendees are responsible for dining fees. Discounts will be provided for the weekend!

• Stomp the Hall: NPHC Homecoming Step Show »

  6-9 p.m. | University Center Event Room

  $15 - Students

• Student Life Movie »

  7-10 p.m. | Fire Pits by the Green

  Join the Student Activities Board (SAB) for Fire Pits and Families and spend a crisp autumn evening around a firepit with your student. Enjoy a movie under the stars with the viewing starting at 7:30pm. Fire pit seating is first come, first serve.

Saturday, November 2

• Hall Homecoming Headquarters »

  9 a.m.- 3 p.m. | University Green

  Start your day at headquarters! Check-in for the day when you arrive (at any time until 3:00 p.m.). University representatives will be on hand for attendee check-in, to answer questions, help you locate activities, and hand out Seton Hall giveaways including trick-or-treat bags, Homecoming tote bags, and beverage koozies with the Pirate logo.

  Homecoming-branded items will also be available by donation to DOVE:

  • Blanket with Homecoming logo (FREE to first 100 that pre-register for Carnival games, the rest available onsite by donation)
  • $75 for cider mug and blanket
  • $25 gift to DOVE for cider mug

  DOVE will be collecting toiletry items to package on site. Please refer to the Division of Volunteer Efforts (DOVE) Philanthropy Project tab below to see the list of items being collected.

• Legacy Family Celebration »

  9-10 a.m. | Bethany Hall

  Join us for this legacy family celebration, which will include special recognition and family photos for each family during a brief program. We are also happy to present you with a special legacy gift. This event is free, but families MUST register in advance in order to receive their gift.

  Legacy family members are defined as parents, grandparents, and siblings who have graduated from Seton Hall.

  Ever wondered what your student's classroom experience is like? Parents and families are welcome to spend a session learning what current students are learning in classes from each School and College.

• 3-D Printing Showcase »

  10-11:30 a.m. | Ground floor of the Walsh Library inside the Beck Rooms & Space 154 
  

  3-d Printing Showcase | 

  The Teaching, Learning, & Technology Center will showcase various emerging technologies, including 3D printing, virtual reality, coding with Sphero robots, and green screen technology using our Chroma Key wall. It is located on the ground floor of the Walsh Library inside the Beck Rooms & Space 154.

   

• E-Sports Tournament »

  10-11:30 a.m. | First two floors of Jubilee Hall

  Esports will be hosting a tournament with two other universities for the NJ Collegiate League at the lab and will be live streaming at the Jubilee atrium.

  Student info sessions will take place highlighting programs like: R.I.S.E., the Center of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, the Center for Sports Media, the Buccino Leadership Institute, the Setonian, the Office of International Programs, the Career Center, and The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee.

• Halloween Costume Contest and Parade »

  11-11:30 a.m. | University Green

  Join in on the fun with our costume contest and parade. There will be categories for kids, adults, and groups with a top prize!

• Division of Volunteer Efforts (DOVE) Philanthropy Project »

  11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. | University Green

  DOVE will be collecting toiletry items to package on site. Stop by DOVE's table on The Green and help assemble care packages for families in need. The care packages will be donated to local organizations directly serving individuals and families experiencing financial and housing insecurity.

  Here are some of the items they are collecting:

  • Travel toothpaste/toothbrush
  • Lotion/shampoo/conditioner/soap
  • Travel deodorant
  • Mini hand sanitizer
  • Lip balm
  • Feminine wipes
  • Feminine pads

  When you make a $25 donation to the DOVE Philanthropy Project you'll receive a Homecoming-branded cider mug that you can use during happy hour!

  Kick off the day's activities on The Green! Get in the Seton Hall spirit as the Seton Hall cheerleaders and pep band showcase their crowd-pleasing performances and hear from Seton Hall's 22nd President Msgr. Reilly!

• Carnival Games »

  $10 - per family for all carnival rides

  Compete against your family for prizes in carnival games or show off your artistic side with the arts and crafts activities. There will be games, inflatable rides, and a variety of activities for all ages.

• Family Dining / DOVE Toiletry Drive »

  12-2 p.m. | University Center Dining Hall
  

  During this time, the dining hall will be open to provide additional options for lunch. This will be pay-as-you-go. DOVE will also still be hosting toiletry donations to create care packages. Here are some of the items they are collecting:

  This solemn celebration honors all the saints and invites the community to gather in prayer and reflection. All are welcome to attend.

• Haunted Hallways »

  12-2 p.m. | First Two Floors Jubilee Hall

  Dare to enter? Join us for a spine-tingling adventure through the Haunted Hallways, brought to you by the Young Alumni Council and the Student Alumni Association. Get ready for chills, thrills, and a hauntingly good time.

• Seton Hall Theatre Performance »

  Join us for this annual tradition of family-friendly children's theatre productions by the students of the Theatre Council! There will be two performances, each approximately 45 minutes long. Admission is free to all Hall Homecoming and Family Weekend attendees. Seating is first-come, first-served. There will be two performances.

  A  student-directed, family friendly performance of the classic Wizard of Oz!

  Bring your entire family for lunchtime on The Green. Various food trucks will be stationed for attendees to pay-as-you-go.

  Join current Seton Hall volunteers to paint and decorate mini pumpkins! Want to become a volunteer? You'll have the chance to sign up for future volunteer opportunities as well.

  Raise a glass and join fellow alumni for a lively happy hour where you can reconnect and unwind over beer from Glenbrook Brewery or hard cider.

• 40th Annual Pirate Farinella 5K Run »

  8 a.m. | Farinella Gate (Main Entrance)

  $25 - Alumni and students
  $30 - Per person
  $35 - Day of registrants

  Run, jog, or walk in this year's Pirate Farinella 5K! Get moving to kickoff the third day of activities. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. in the parking lot near the Arts Center (Carriage House). Any walk-in registrations on race day must be completed by 7:45 a.m. The starting line is at Farinella Gate (Main Entrance). The first 100 runners on race day will receive a free t-shirt at check-in (Sizes S-XL will be available while supplies last). Register Now >>

  Prizes will be awarded to the top two overall male and female runners, and first, second and third in the following age groups: 12 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+. Awards will begin at 9 a.m., with Homecoming Mass to follow at 10 a.m. in the Chapel.

  Join us at the Prudential Center for an exciting showdown as Seton Hall Men's Basketball takes on Saint Peters University! Cheer on the Pirates as they defend their home court and look to secure a thrilling victory.
