Cornerstone CSX Launches June 1: University Updates Annual Performance Appraisal Process
Thursday, May 8, 2025
In alignment with Seton Hall’s commitment to continuous improvement and employee development,
the Department of Human Resources is excited to announce the University-wide launch of Cornerstone (CSX), a new performance
management tool, on June 1, 2025.
This upgraded platform replaces Saba TalentSpace and brings a more intuitive and user-friendly experience to the annual performance appraisal process for administrators, staff and faculty with administrative appointments. The transition to Cornerstone was approved by the University’s Executive Cabinet and reflects Seton Hall’s ongoing efforts to streamline operations, improve usability, and enhance the overall performance appraisal experience for both employees and supervisors.
What’s New?
The performance appraisal process will continue to be accessible through a dedicated
Cornerstone (CSX) application in the PirateNet dashboard using Single Sign-On for
seamless login. The appraisal itself has been redesigned with simplicity in mind,
and now includes three distinct components:
- Core Competencies – aligned with the University’s mission and expectations for performance;
- Compliance Review – acknowledgment of required University trainings;
- Sign-Off Section – final review and digital acknowledgment by employee and supervisor.
