Engagement and Collaboration
The Institute of Judaeo-Christian studies forwards its mission through engagement and collaborative programs that inform scholars and theologians and instruct educators, students and the general public about various facets of Jewish-Christian studies and relations, especially those that address complex religious, ethical and social issues and help to promote justice and peace.
Institute Programs and Initiatives
A partial list of the engagement and collaborative programs and initiatives the Institute sponsors and supports includes:

The Annual John M. Oesterreicher Memorial Lecture, an event that brings scholars from all over the world to the Seton Hall University
campus to examine the most relevant issues in Jewish-Christian studies and relations

The Kinship of Catholics and Jews, a weekly radio program broadcast on WSOU that promotes the shared values of Christians
and Jews and is moderated by the Institute's Director every Sunday morning at 11:00 am
on WSOU 89.5 FM
- Art exhibitions at Seton Hall University's Walsh Gallery, which are open to the general public at no charge and focus on highlighting the Biblical heritage and the beauty found in various forms of Jewish and Christian art

The Institute has developed, encouraged and increased the collaborative peace-building efforts among an immeasurable number of Jewish and Christian scholars, theologians, educators, students and the general public our engagement and collaboration programs.

Forging strong partnerships with the Vatican for more than 70 years through the Institute's directors, Monsignor John M. Oesterreicher (1953-1993) and
The Reverend Dr. Lawrence E. Frizzell (1993-Present)
