Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society

Pi Mu Epsilon is the national mathematics honor society.  Seton Hall’s chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon was established in 1968 and is designated the NJ Delta Chapter.

Eligible mathematics and/or computer science majors may be inducted.  The eligibility requirements are as follows.

For mathematics or math education majors:

• overall GPA of 3.6 
• for rising juniors 3.4 
• for rising seniors GPA of 3.5 in mathematics courses

For computer science majors or mathematics minors:

• overall GPA of at least 3.6 
• completion of a mathematics course at the 3000 level or higher
