A Beacon of Hope: Insights From Sofiya Opatska's Talk on Ukrainian Business and Education

On Friday, March 1, Seton Hall University played host to a compelling and timely discussion led by Sofiya Opatska, vice rector for Strategic Development at the Ukrainian Catholic University [UCU]. The event, titled "A Wartime Education: Sustaining Business, Business Schools and Universities in Ukraine," shed light on the ongoing challenges in the Ukraine.

Throughout her presentation, Opatska shared inspiring anecdotes and examples of resilience from Ukrainian people. These stories served as a testament to the indomitable spirit of the Ukrainian people and their unwavering dedication to education as a beacon of hope for the future.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, during which attendees had the opportunity to engage with Opatska directly and delve deeper into the topics discussed. The dialogue that ensued underscored the importance of international solidarity and support for Ukrainian educational institutions as they navigate these challenging times.
