I am an assistant professor of political science and the pre-law advisor for the College of Arts and Sciences at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, in December 2017, with a focus on political theory and public law. I also have a J.D. from Harvard Law School. Before pursuing my Ph.D., I practiced law in New York City for five years, in both the public and private sectors, and spent one year in Berlin, Germany, on a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship. I also have professional experience in journalism and publishing.
