David Elliot Berman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication, Media, and the Arts. Prior to arriving at Seton Hall in 2024, Berman was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also received his Ph.D. in 2022.

His research focuses on media labor, media policy, and media activism.
