Dr. Frank Cicero is a New York State Licensed Psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst. Dr. Cicero is an Associate Professor in the College of Human Development, Culture, and Media. He is the Program Director for and faculty in the Applied Behavior Analysis graduate programs. Dr. Cicero also teaches courses in related programs including graduate courses in psychological studies and special education as well as undergraduate behavior modification courses in psychology. Prior to joining Seton Hall, Dr. Cicero held the position of Director of Psychological Services for the Eden II Programs, an applied behavior analysis special education program serving children and adults with autism spectrum disorder in New York City and Long Island. He also was an adjunct professor of applied behavior analysis for Caldwell University from 2002 through 2016. In addition to his teaching, Dr. Cicero maintains a clinical practice specializing in child and adolescent behavioral psychology and diagnostics. Dr. Cicero sits on a number of professional boards including the Affiliate Chapters Board of the Association for Behavior Analysis International, The Board of Directors of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment, and The Reed Academy Advisory Board. Dr. Cicero served on the Board of the New York State Association for Behavior Analysis for two decades including serving in the position of President of the Board. Dr. Cicero frequently presents at local and national conferences on his areas of interest which include treatment of severe problem behavior, empirically supported treatments for autism spectrum disorder, sexuality education for individuals with developmental disabilities, toilet training practices, ethics in practice, assessment procedures, and teacher/parent training in applied behavior analysis. Dr. Cicero has served as a reviewer for a number of top-tier journals in the fields of behavior analysis and developmental disabilities. In addition to his peer reviewed publications and book chapters (see below), Dr. Cicero is the author of the book; Toilet Training Success: A Guide for Teaching Individuals with Developmental Disabilities which has been translated into several languages.

- Focus of the grant was to develop a project whereby the principles and procedures of behavior analysis are shared with a population not exposed to behavior analysis
- The project focused on exposing public school general education teachers to the principles and procedures of behavior analysis (traditionally used by special education teachers of children with autism) and how they can use behavior analysis in their classrooms.
