I teach first-year writing and research how computational tools can support writing assessment.
I hold a PhD in English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Composition, as well as certifications in Cultural Analytics and Teaching in Higher Education from Temple University. I earned my BA in English with a concentration in Secondary Education from Elizabethtown College in January 2019. My areas of expertise include Rhetoric/Composition and the digital humanities, with research that explores computational text analysis methods to enhance rhetorically grounded writing pedagogy and assessment. I also have experience in feature writing, grant writing, academic writing, web writing, creative writing, and publishing.
