Melissa Morano, MSOT

Melissa M. Morano is a Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the School of Health and Medical Sciences. As a clinician she has served all ages and practice areas with a specialty in pediatrics. She is currently pursuing her doctorate at the University of Cumberlands in Leadership with a specialty in Health Sciences focusing on instructional technology training in occupational therapy and occupational therapy programs and its impact on readiness.
As a graduate of both Villanova and Seton Hall, two Catholic universities, she learned about servant leadership through that education and embodies that philosophy in her teaching. As a mother of three children, she is not only teaching, but learning every day how to nurture and support others, and hopes to continue to grow and support her students in their growth as well.
