Muhammed Yönaç joined Seton Hall University as an Assistant Professor of Finance in August 2024. Before Seton Hall, he worked at the University of Bristol, UK for two years in the same position. He completed his Ph.D. in Finance at Baruch College, CUNY in 2022. He also holds a Ph.D. in Physics from University of Rochester, and an M.S. and B.S. in Physics from Bilkent University. His research interests lie in applications of machine learning in finance, theoretical and empirical asset pricing, social/behavioral finance, climate finance, and macro finance.
