Aquinas “AQ”
Aquinas, often referred to by students as “AQ,” is named after Saint Thomas Aquinas, the patron saint of universities and scholars. Aquinas houses about half of our first-year residents. It is crowned by the Sky Lounge, a lounge on the top floor with wraparound windows and a view of athletic fields.

Favorite thing about Aquinas: "There is a winning culture among the students and the staff within the building, as they each strive to succeed in everything they do. They are always connecting with one another and bring vibrant energy as soon as they enter the building."
Pro Tip for living in Aquinas Hall: "There are a variety of lounge spaces that can be utilized for studying or downtime with peers in the building. Also, keep an eye out for the flyers that are posted around the building to see what activities are happening in AQ and on campus."
Boland Hall
Boland Hall is named after Rev. Msgr. Thomas Boland, alumnus of Seton Hall and Archbishop of Newark, 1953-1974. Boland is the largest residence hall on campus, and holds memories from generations of Seton Hall alumni. Its legacy is one of strong community for first-year residents, featuring the spacious Pirate’s Cellar recreation room and sharing an entrance with Campus Ministry.

Favorite thing about Boland North: "Boland is such a warm and welcoming community starting right at the front desk. This amazing area allows residents to enjoy and participate in many programs! This welcoming community continues to the north side. Every floor has a great lounge space for students to do homework, meet up with friends, or connect with their floormates. The community is so welcoming, and the RAs love to decorate the entire floor to make students feel at home!"
Pro Tip for living in Boland North: "Make sure to utilize the Boland classroom during midterms and finals! Studying in your room can get exhausting and it's a great change of scenery! Also, if you are looking for a great way to meet new people, the Boland Cellar is a great place to play games or watch movies! Immersing yourself in the community is an excellent way to get the most out of your college experience."

Favorite thing about Boland South: "The students here get to know each other really quickly in SoBo—that’s the magic of community-style bathrooms (plus, they don’t have to clean them!). The lounges and lobbies here are also super spacious and filled with generations of memories from the Seton Hall community."
Pro Tip for living in Boland South: "Visit the Cellar when you find yourself with free time, instead of hanging out in your room, especially in the first 56 days of school! You will always be able to meet someone new and even sharpen your pool or ping pong skills along the way."
The Complex
Consisting of 3 residence halls, Cabrini, Neumann, and Serra—each hall has its own
distinctive flair and personality. The Complex halls flank the walkway from the Farinella
gate toward Schwartz Hall and are situated in a quieter side of campus.

Favorite thing about The Complex: "My favorite thing about the complex is the variety of the three buildings to live in. The complex is in a nice, reserved part of campus that allows students to unwind, and the complex walkway can be a very nice time to walk through, especially in the spring and fall!"
Pro Tip for living in The Complex: "The complex offers suite-style dorms with doubles and some rooms being triples. If you want to live with friends, you can have up to seven people in one suite! However, the complex does offer a limited number of singles that are a part of the Neumann plus program!"
Ora Manor
Ora Manor is accessible by the Seton Hall Shuttle and offers residents the independence of apartment living in the South Orange community. It is near the South Orange Train Station giving residents options for commuting to New York City.

Favorite thing about Ora Manor: :My favorite thing about Ora Manor is how integrated the building is into the South Orange community. Residents of Ora Manor have easy access to the train station, Stop and Shop, and the nice shops in South Orange Village."
Pro Tip for Living in Ora Manor: "My pro tip for living in Ora is to use the Seton Hall Shuttle to commute to campus. It stops at various points, including the train station. Whenever you are off New York City, check the Seton Hall Shuttle schedule and catch a free ride to the South Orange train station."
Turrell Manor
Turrell Manor is across the street from Seton Hall’s main campus and offers residents the independence of apartment living with the convenience of campus life. Turrell has stylish apartments that can occupy 2-4 people.

Favorite thing about Turrell Manor: My favorite thing about Turrell Manor is the basement study lounge. Ora and Turrell have whiteboards in the basement lounges that are conveniently placed near the washer and dryer units. This allows residents to study while they wait for their clothes to dry. Also, there are enough tables and chairs for students to gather with their friends and have a study session.
Pro Tip for living in Turrell Manor: My pro-tip for living in Turrell is to use the parking deck on campus. Turrell’s location allows students to be closer to campus where they can conveniently walk to any location on campus.
Xavier Hall “X”
Xavier Hall, or “X” as many students call it, is named after Saint Francis Xavier, the patron saint of Catholic missions. Xavier is our tallest residence hall with a view of the New York City skyline visible from the top floors.

- Floors: The building is divided by the Tri (1st – 3rd floor) and Tower side (2nd – 7th floor)

Favorite thing about Xavier Hall: "My favorite thing about Xavier is how central to campus it is. I love to look out the windows in the lounge spaces and see campus from a bird’s eye view!"
Pro Tip for living in Xavier Hall: "Head next door to the Dining Hall in between loads of laundry! Don’t forget to set an alarm for a couple minutes before your laundry finishes! That way you can make it back in time to move your clothes quickly, AND you get to hear the fun song the machines play when a cycle finishes."
