Director of Catholic Health Systems Non-Profit Discusses Connection Between Faith and Healthcare - Seton Hall University

Immaculate Conception Seminary, School of Theology, Catholic Studies Program, and the Department of Religion present "Faith & Healthcare," a lecture by Ms. Sarah Reddin. This event will take place on March 26, 2020 at the Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology, Lewis Hall, Chapel of Christ the Good Shepherd, from 3:30 – 5 p.m.
Today's professionals serving in Catholic healthcare systems across the country have varied roles and come from a wide variety of educational backgrounds, including those who bring expertise in theology, religion, and Catholic studies. To underscore that point, the Immaculate Conception Seminary, Catholic Studies Program, and the Department of Religion will co-sponsor "Faith & Healthcare," a lecture and discussion with guest, Ms. Sarah Reddin, Director of Ministry Formation-Mission Integration for Ascension Health, one of the leading non-profit and Catholic health systems in the U.S.
Ms. Reddin will discuss the specifics of her role, as well as similar career positions that focus on creating an organization that is committed to the Catholic Mission. With over 17 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, Ms. Reddin currently leads ministry, formation, development, spirituality, culture, engagement, personal and organizational transformation efforts within Ascension – a leading not-for-profit and Catholic healthcare systems in the US. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison holds a Master of Arts in Health Care Mission Leadership from Loyola University-Chicago. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Health Care Mission Leadership.
