Counseling and Psychological Services

Counseling and Psychological Services offers a wide range of therapeutic services designed to foster the psychological health and well-being of our students in order help them to thrive, develop, and achieve academic and personal success.

To meet significant demand for service, CAPS utilizes a brief therapy model that is short-term and focused on helping students to effectively manage a specific problem, challenge, or to make a desired change. When a student’s needs require long-term support, more intensive treatment, or a specific expertise not offered at CAPS, we partner with the student to transition to resources off-campus within the community.
