A supportive,

kindhearted environment

Our patroness, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, believed in education without barriers — a conviction that still guides us today. From your peers to your professors and beyond, you will find a community of people who welcome you and care for you, as Mother Seton would have.

The Office of International Programs (OIP) provides counseling and support for all student visa and immigration issues. It also offers a variety of services and social and cultural activities to help you become active in the University’s community.

Small town charm

with big city opportunities

Our campus is a haven that offers New York City access whenever you want it — whether it's for an internship or job, to experience the culture or find a familiar taste of home. Seton Hall is also accessible from three major airports, with Newark Liberty International Airport being the closest.

The reception here when I first arrived was great. You feel like you’re supported by every department, be it Financial Aid, the Career Center, or Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). We are all supporting each other as Pirates.

Helping international students

thrive at Seton Hall

Paying for graduate school

Seton Hall not only maintains one of the lowest tuition rates among our peers, we also offer a wide range of scholarship opportunities. In addition, international students may explore graduate assistantships, external grants and fellowships to help fund their studies.

Learning and growing together

The International Student Association (ISA) brings together students from all cultures and backgrounds while ensuring they are adjusting well to their new environment. ISA is also here to help resolve issues and concerns specific to international students.

Application guidance

We are here to support you in your graduate school journey, starting with your application. The first step is making sure you are familiar with the specific requirements and considerations for international applicants.

Find your place to call home

Many of our international students choose to live off campus. We have curated a number of resources for finding off-campus housing, including available rentals and roommate searches.

$Mendoza Fund

The Mendoza

fund

The Mendoza Global Ambassador Program is a unique scholarship program that empowers graduate students to share with their local communities back home about the opportunities available at Seton Hall University. Ambassadors facilitate activities in their home country over break periods, either in-person or virtually.
