The Accounting concentration is ideal for students who wish to move into corporate accounting and/or finance roles. Corporate financial planning and analysis requires knowledge in accounting functionalities like record keeping, creating and reading financial reports, and an awareness of tax issues. The four courses in the Accounting concentration provide you with the background and foundational expertise to handle these responsibilities with confidence.

Whether you choose the M.B.A. with an Accounting concentration or one of Seton Hall’s online master’s in accounting degrees depends on several factors, including your background and career goals. In general, those who wish to earn the CPA credential may want to consider the M.S. in Accounting.
