9th Annual Faculty Talent Show
Wednesday, February 19, 2020
The 9th annual Faculty Talent Show will be held on Thursday, March 12, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., in Pirate's Cove in the University Center. The show will feature faculty and staff from across campus sharing their various talents for a good cause. In past years, performances have included singing, dancing, and musical acts of various kinds. Some performers/performances have become annual favorites.
Dr. Mark Horowitz, from the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies again this year. Dr. Horowitz brings humor and even a bit of friendly competition to his role as MC, engaging the audience in various word games and puzzles between acts. Light refreshments will also be available.
Each year the talent show raises approximately $500 that is then donated to a DOVE-associated charity. There is no entrance fee, but donations are solicited throughout the evening. This year's funds will again go to help Maison Fortune Orphanage in Haiti.
If you are interested in performing in the show, please contact Mary Balkun or Debra Zinicola.
