Academic Symposium: "The Story of Catholic Education: Renewing Our Universities"
4 p.m. | Bethany Hall, Room A
Lecture presented by Professor of Catholic Studies at the University of St. Thomas
Michael Naughton, Ph.D. A reception will follow immediately afterward in the Bethany
Hall Atrium.
If we do not know where we come from, it is hard to know what role we play. Michael Naughton provides a compelling narrative of Catholic education that draws upon our personal, institutional, and cosmic stories. This narrative gives us a vision both to see our current educational challenges more clearly, and to act with confidence and creativity to renew the mission and culture of Catholic higher education.
