Scholarships

The Army ROTC scholarship program provides financial assistance for the education and training of highly qualified and motivated young men and women who desire to be commission as officers in the Army after graduation from college. Scholarships pay:

  • 100% tuition and mandatory fees
  • $1200 per academic year book allowance
  • $420 per month stipend (during school year)

Four and three year scholarships are available to high school students.

General Eligibility Requirements

For an ROTC scholarship, you must generally:

  • Be a United States citizen
  • Be between the ages of 17 and 26
  • Possess a high school diploma, or equivalent
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Be medically qualified through DODMERB
  • Be able to pass the Army Combat Fitness Test

Non-Scholarship Benefits

Students can participate in ROTC without a scholarship and will receive the ROTC stipend benefits during their junior year once contracted. If a member of the Army Reserve or Army National Guard, these students are required to participate in the Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP), which will entitle them to receive additional financial benefits through the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while completing their degree program as an Army ROTC cadet.
